• [ten] current song: (in my head): Everchanging - Rise Against current mood: happy Well, I'm happy becuase I just ate the best darn panini I've ever had in my entire life. YUM! But this journal is for different purposes... I don't normally respond to others' journals, but I feel like it right now. In response to nuclearnatalie's journal... First of all, I don't necessarily disagree with you on a lot of things. And I do believe you can get closer to God in just a week, because I've witnessed it several times, BUT... I can't believe that you actually stand by saying that you are closer to God than 99% of the population. How could you even know that when you probably haven't even come in contact with 1% of the Earth's population of people??? And I also think that's a little pessimistic, don't you? You actually believe that THAT many people aren't close to God? I think the real numbers would surprise you....not that you can even count that sort of thing. Religion and spirituality and someone's personal relationship with God is something too sacred (and personal) to measure or play around with, or diminish (no matter if you know the person or not). I also think that some of the people you would look at and make negative assumptions about, could be extremely spritual...just in a different way than you. Maybe even more.
