• It's been a while since I've been to a show, so I was totally psyched to go to this one, especially since it was all Christian metal/screamo bands. I went to Scream The Prayer and I can honestly say it was one of the greatest experiences I've had in numerous months or years even. The thing about this show that made me so elated was that all the bands were sending out the same message: to have faith in God. My favorite band, hands down, was Akissforjersey, and let me tell you, the Holy Spirit was definitely sent upon me during the time they played. That is definite music for the soul! After they played Zach said a few words about our Lord and I just felt so joyful to know that one of my favorite bands has the same interest in God as I do. We share the same love for God. It's incredible the feeling you get when you realize that. Then watching War of Ages play, I notice Zach Dawson behind me and my friend Eddie insists that I meet him and get my picture taken with him. Being the shy person that I am, I kept saying "No, no that's okay" but he nudged me over and I got soooo excited to meet him. He's a really nice guy! The picture I took with him now hangs in my room on the wall. We both look very happy. It makes me smile everytime I look at it. The thing about Zach is that he spreads the Word of God through example. Doing small things like tossing me a water bottle and selling me a t-shirt for $12 instead of $15. He's so great! I'll never forget it. I appreciate their music even more now that I actually know the people.
