  • After all these years, I don't understand why Thursday isn't respected by EVERY promoter, band, music fan, record label owner. How much longer will we have bubble-gum bands on top of the music industry? Thursday's music is so hard hitting and truely emotional.. not the emo type of emotional where a lyricist writes lyrics to fulfill the ears of and the band backs with petty-written music for false fans of this scene/genre and all the sub-genres thereafter. Geoff writes such important lyrics of all types of situations that when the band's amazing heart-pounding music meshs with it you can place yourself in the body of the song and it becomes you. Amazing. This post of 'why?' also goes out to those of this generation who won't shut up about classic rock. I like classic rock a lot. I have so much respect for it. I come from a big family spawning from different age groups thus different generations of music but c'mon everyone.. show homage to your generation or there won't be anything to be proud of in our generation of music. Thursday: one of the greatest bands today and ever. My favorite.
