• I got new rechargable batteries for my birthday and now I can carry my CD player around instead of using the power cord and staying plugged in all of the time. I took it to work because in the morning I am the only one there and it was really awesome. When Mom is playing her Fleetwood Mac CD for the 2,937th time I can turn on my CD player even out in the living room where Fleetwood Mac is playing. Now you may be wondering why didn't she just use regular batteries before? Simply because I am a cheapstake tightwad. I could have all the batteries in the world if I wasn't so picky to insist that I don't want to buy new batteries all of the time. I could have all of the CD's I drool over at music stores if I would get over it and go ahead and pay more than ten dollars for a CD.
