My day was so-so. It sure didn't start well, but I got over it, one has to. I hate my anthro class, the kids in it are seriously fucked in the head, ruining it for people who are actually interested in the course, where they just wanted an easy credit and an excuse to be with friends. I'm debating switching into history...I don't like history, and the teacher gives a hell of a lot of homework.
Something that's annoying me right now... So Long As We Keep Our Bodies Numb We're Safe by Midtown. Wonderful song, beautiful lyrics and melody...for the first three minutes and ten seconds. Then for the next TEN MINUTES AND THREE SECONDS it's just the same monotonic/hardly melodic "don't listen, don't listen, don't listen" (apparently it's "you don't listen" but I can't hear the "you") with varying instrumentals. Seriously...13:13 is wayyy too freakin long for a song, it runs down the batteries on my crappy mp3 player and skipping to the next song does too, for some sad reason. I love the first part, don't get me wrong, I just can't imagine...what must they do at the concerts?? Do they honestly stand their for ten minutes chanting "don't listen, don't listennnn"???? Maybe there's a reason it's so long, like they wanted 13:13 or something, as soon as I know I might respect the reason, till then I'm annoyed with it running down my battery, cuz I like the rest of the song. It's a great 3:10 though, I must say, I do recommend it.
