Today I thought about more topics for my anthro project. I also hardly came online, which is unusual for me, really. My uncle tagged my mom and step-dad as me on facebook, and I'm quite annoyed-I know it's so that I'll show them the pictures, but it's my facebook account...unless it's funny, don't tag my mom or step-dad as me, it's weird.
I have this really weird cold right now, I'd hardly even go so far as to call it a cold. When I wake up in the morning, my nose is stuffed and it feels weird to swallow. Later on in the day, it's fine. The only coughing I do is to attempt to clear out my throat, which is barely bothering me, just a minor annoyance. It's not really a cold but I don't know what to call it...oh and I'm constantly thirsty and my lips are chapped, and it seems no ammount of lipchap will save them, haha.
I watched an old movie today, 1960 H. G. Wells' movie "The Time Machine". The only reason I watched it was because I'd seen it mentioned in an interview on the dvd extras from "The Butterfly Effect"...it turned out to actually be a pretty decent movie, surprisingly! The only problems were the "suspenseful" parts and almost "scary" parts were entirely laughable...ex.
People from the 60's: "omg it's a monster!!"
People from the new century: "hahaha you can see the wires!! wow that blood looks fake!! Atomic bombs? Puh-lease!"
...and the music was annoying as hell...all instrumental generally based on brass instruments, which I never really liked...as well the voices of the actors were so quiet so I'd turn it up really loud, then it would get "suspenseful" and the music would blare, with the ever-used
"BRAH-BRAH-BRAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" of the trumpets sounding possibly imminent demise...
Yeah, it's pretty hard to write onomatopoeia for trumpets...at least if it's "bang!" it makes sense haha.
I finished "The Fourth Hand" by John Irving today, he's quite an entertaining author. It's the second book I've read by him (the first being "The World According to Garp", which I believe is better). Though sex and polygamy seem to be recurring themes in his books as far as I can tell, they're still quite good. Some time I'll start another of his books.
I wish it were tomorrow...I'll admit, I'm one of those people who religiously check Postsecret every sunday. It's a wonderful site, I've been visiting it almost every week-summer sometimes excepted-since almost two years ago.

If you've never been there before, I highly recommend it. If you have...glad to share in the anonymity.
Yesterday Mat suggested he wanted to hang out with me today, but I said no, I'd be going to my aunt's...that had at one point been the plan, but in truth, I'd felt bad because I'd just told Em that he says the cutest things, and thought that it would almost seem like a betrayal, even though I'd never do anything with anyone else...Mat also wants me to go with him to Vancouver, where I've always wanted to go, this summer, if neither of us make Team Canada...I really want to go, but I'm also slightly worried what people will think my intentions are. As much as one can say "who cares what others think", the minute the question of faithfulness comes into prospect, I usually snap. I suppose I'd need my mom's permission to leave in the first place though, which could be hard to get...
If I had a daughter ask to take a plane very very far away with a guy she doesn't really know, to stay in a hotel, even though she has a boyfriend, and despite the fact that the guy's dad will probably be there...I doubt I'd say yes.
I have this thing called "windows movie maker". I think I'm gonna see if I can make some cartoon clips on it using paint and a short song that I have on my computer...what song, I don't yet know.
Probably "I like Giants" or "Loose Lips" by Kimya Dawson. Those are great songs. I guess any song with a story would work, I don't want to make a music video really, just an entertaining clip show.
