I had to run the house for almost two days basically by myself while my mom was out. I don't think I ever want a family now, haha. The stupid dishwasher wouldn't work...I had to mop stuff...I think I'll just be a nomad. Live in a different country every month. Which means I'll need money, while means I'll need to rob banks, which means I'll need a Clyde to my Bonnie. Any takers?
Anyway, let's swing back into reality here, shall we, gentle readers?
I am reading A Clockwork Orange. My brother gave it to me two Christmases ago and I started it but stopped halfway through, and now I'm reading the other half. It is such a good book, but it's hard to read because of the secret language Alex and his "droogs" speak in. So I put it down for a while. But now I'm back into the swing of the book and it is excellent. If you haven't read it, please do. As soon as I'm done reading it, I'm going to watch the movie. So I'm pretty excited.
Yeah, I get excited over books. I just finished The Silence of the Lambs, and now I'm reading Hannibal. So that's really cool, and I'm going to be hardcore here and say I actually like Hannibal better, even though Lambs has more hype.
I also recently read a book called "Jude the Obscure" by Thomas Hardy, and it was so wonderful. I had to read it for a school project, but I ended up loving it, and now it's one of my favorite books. So now I'm reading "Tess of the d'Ubervilles" by the same auther, and am happy to report it is also wonderful.
I'm also reading Dracula. Yes, I do read four books at once. I can't stay focused on one story for more than an hour, but I like reading for more than one hour. So there's that.
And I have rambled about books on a site about music. But really, they're kind of related, really. As are movies. Books, movies, and music are the three biggest outlets of creative expression and ideas, in my opinion, so really, they are very alike. You can make a movie based on a book with a kickass soundtrack (music) that expresses feelings and emotions from the book/movie. If that makes sense. They're related. Let's leave it at that.
Ok, I really feel like I'm sticking my foot in my mouth, so I''l sign off.
Peace out?
