The pursuit of love

  • I sit here thinking about him He whom doesn’t even know of my existence But that’s what makes it great The mere image of him impregnated in my soul is what keeps me alive Keeps me going, dreaming and hoping for distant things He is my only hope that some day He will teach me what love can be like He whom writes about love Because it’s his passion I hope one day I can also be his passion I hope to be one day the girl of his everlasting dreams But that’s all this is to me a Dream I will see him one day but he will not even give me a passing glance He without knowing it will let love pass him by leaving me in his passing shadow But that’s what love does to you It makes you hope for the impossible Because I that know a person like him could never love a person like me That’s love it was meant to hurt everyone but not to be felt or meant by everyone I’m one of the unlucky or lucky ones how ever which way you see it Like Samuel Johnson said once ‘and the pursuit of happiness’ As say I and the pursuit of love, why not? I to have to have some type of dream I will forever chase it but never get close enough To smell its wondrous scent What a pity
