You know how if you're only half-listening to a conversation and you start actually paying attention the same time the worst possible phrase is said, and you get all confused about what led to it? I mean like *serious* innuendo. Well, I just found the slightly cleaner song equivalent.
Listening to Maroon 5's new album, Can't Stop comes on. I like it, but I'm reading as well, so I'm not listening properly. And the line 'Wake up making love to my pillow' jumps out at me.
Pause iPod. Blink. Rewind song. Realization hits. Mental images appear. Mental images bleached from brain. I go back to my book.
Thi is the cue for the line 'And I touch myself like it's somebody else' to jump at me. Again, pause. Blink. Skip to next song. Carry on reading.
I love this band, despite (or possibly because of - you never know with me...) the fact that sex is implies in *every* *single* *song*.
