Glass eyes
Floating through my mind
Extenuating
All the poems and rhymes
Moving mouths
no hands in sight
The things you would see
In the middle of the night
Chips and splinters
The wood runs out
Porcelain faces
Be careful don’t shout
The faces staring
The wandering eyes
They want you darling
But no your mine
The people
They don’t actually care
They can say it
But could never hold your stare
The hands they move
The mouths they scream
The children are taken
Your life is worth more then it may seem
The outfits are innocent
The faces creep me out
They’re no longer lying
They’re out and about
The children
Seem to be amazed
The men are confused
The women all but dazed
Your tongue is precious
Your blood is sweet
Your skin so gentle
What a treacherous treat
The stares they linger
The lies they stare
Your throat is bleeding
Lost from the air.
