Nirvana & Soundgarden

  • Kurt Cobain loved Soundgarden. You can see a Soundgarden sticker on his guitar in the picture for the DVD in the "With The Lights Out" box set. Soundgarden once performed with Nirvana for a crowd of 15 in Aberdeen, Washington. The distinctive, mute-ridden rhythm for the main riff of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was first created by Soundgarden in the intro for 1988's "Mood For Trouble".
