I buried your hopes right along with your dreams.
They lie awake among the lilies we left in your memory.
The knife i used lies dormant among the leaves.
Scattered along is my sanity.Right among your lies.
They're the best of friends.
Cutting each others wrists to the beat of the music.
We scream our hearts out.Let us lie.Let us die.
We live among the roses,
Imposters of this true race of perfection.
We're misfits behind our masks.
Made of our veigns. They're pulsing red.
Our tears leave dark black marks along our hearts.
Nailed to our chests its the only reason they stay.
We lost all our lives, just press replay.
Keep up in this race. You never were a good runner.
All our kindergarten pals,
They crossed the finish line before we even started.
Well honey maybe we just never were that good.
The tight jeans cut off our circulation.
Or maybe the fame just went to our heads.
You ever thought that maybe life ain't that hard?
We just make it out to be?Well love never works out,
Fame always gives out,
And friends just leave you bleeding on the ground.
You see the truth isn't very fun so why use it?
Salty blood it always covers your mouth,
Tears always stain your hands.
I have to wonder where you've been.
Maybe your best interests are at my mind,
I abandoned mine long ago.
You always win the game of life.
The grades,the family,the friends.
I never seem to acheive my goals.
Keep a better chance at hand.Cheaters never win.
Well you win so what am i saying?
Perfection isn't so perfect once it's all you know.
Poem i wrote.
