• Well I bought the new Less Than Jake album today, 'In With The Out Crowd'. I had heard that it was quite poppy and different from their older stuff, but everyone complained about Anthem and even Borders & Boundaries, which I both loved so I thought it would be great. However, listening to the first track I had to actually check the album cover again to make sure I hadn't bought 'under the cork tree' or whatever Fall Out Boy's album is called. I mean, what the fuck? Where the hell are the horns? And did you get fucking McFly to write some of those songs? Ok, there are a few tunes on there, such as 'P.S. Shock The World' which i have fallen in love with, it sounds like a sort of 'Science of Selling Yourself Short' remix but with much more energy. Anyway, I don't mind them 'growing up' a bit and having a more professional sound, that's to be expected really, i'm not usually one of the people to go 'Oh god they've totally sold out i hate them now' just because a band signs to a big label or something but this is beyond a joke. Don't let the originality die!! That's what fucking made you as a band and got you all these devoted fans! If you want to appeal to a larger audience and polish your sound a bit, fine by me, I loved 'Anthem' and 'B-is-for-b-sides' but this is a step to far. STOP TRYING TO BE FALL OUT BOY FOR GODS SAKE!!!
