Recently I've been exposed to some much newer music than I am accustomed to listening to. Most of it is ok, but I wouldn't ever buy most CDs. My recent favs are Jack Johnson and Angels and Airwaves. I never listened to Blink-182 but love Angels and Airwaves. Especially their song The Adventure.
The first time I ever heard Jack Johnson I was laying in the back of a minibus with a guy going to a Shakespeare festival with my drama club. The German exchange student that was with us had a Jack Johnson CD and the guy I was laying next to started listening to JJ. We both had headphones and listened together. JJ was so laid back and easy to listen to. We fell asleep to JJ. It was great. And I love Jack Johnson.
So ends my long time hate of all newer music. Some of it is good, but my oldies are still the best; Cat Stevens, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, etc.
