• Recently got hold of the underground collaboration between Buck 65 and Sage Francis, 'Follow Me'. What can I say? These guys are an acquired taste, but once you get a taste for them you're constantly hungry. Sadly I feel like their music combined somehow fell short. It was good but nothing groundbreaking, and considering the absolutely revolutionary verses these guys have been able to spit in the past, this single isn't as monumental as I had hoped it would be. I haven't really spent a lot of time with the song but I just can't get into it, and I won't pretend I'm not dissapointed. They both have a very familiar feel to me, these are the kinds of artists I mentally view as some sort of father figure. I'm hoping that, as unlikely as it is, they'll join forces again in the future and really show us something this time around. Regardless, I'd follow these two anyplace.
