Mina Mauldin is an LA based indie-pop singer-songwriter with roots in Texas. Mina's melt in your mouth indie pop is the taming of a wild spirit through beautiful, broken landscapes. Her honey voiced, hook driven melodies are delivered with a confident vulnerability. Following the death of her father, Mina dedicated her album "White Dandelion" in his honor. She has many heart-felt stories to tell; from witnessing a bank robbery to feeling the aftermath of a devastating hurricane, which washed away her grandparents' home.
Songwriting began for Mina at age 10. Years later, she met Tobi Miller, previously with The Wallflowers who gave her good advice saying "write one song every day" which has kept Mina prolific. Recently, she has had the great opportunity to work with Grammy Award Winning Christian Delano (Lady Gaga), Kevin Hunter (Simple Minds, Sheryl Crow) and Chris Fudurich (Britney Spears, Nada Surf, Sophie B. Hawkins) to name a few. Mina has also shared stages with John Popper (Blues Traveler), opened for Bob Schneider and Texas regional act, Vallejo. The new White Dandelion EP was released November 2011, co-produced by Billy Mohler (Smashing Pumpkins, Macy Gray, Liz Phair) and Mina.
In 2012, Mina's track "Chasing Answers" was featured on Lifetime TV's dance moms. Her albums include Super Psychotic Queen (2004), The Backstroke & The Butterfly (2008), and White Dandelion (2010) which are currently available on Itunes, CD Baby, and Amazon.
