In 1979, she got her first role in cinema, thanks to Claude Miller's detective film Garde à Vue. In 1986, her debut single T'En Va Pas appeared in Régis Wargnier's film La Femme de ma Vie, in which she had a role. The single earned her first gold disc.
Elsa released 6 albums, recorded a duet with Glenn Medeiros and played alongside Alain Delon in Édouard Niermans' Retour de Casanova. She has also played in television films and series.
