Tanya Davis

Tanya Davis is a Canadian singer-songwriter, poet and author, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her style is marked primarily by spoken word poetry set to music. She has released three albums to date: Make a List (2006), Gorgeous Morning (2008), and Clocks and Hearts Keep Going (2010). She was named Poet Laureate of Halifax and released her first book At First, Lonely in 2011. She identifies as queer.
