Midnight Juggernauts are an electronic band from Melbourne, Australia, composed of members Andrew Szekeres, Vincent Vendetta (aka Vincent Heimann), and Daniel Stricker. The band was formed in 2004 by Vendetta and Szekeres who met in school, and Stricker joined in late 2006. It is hard to define the band's sound, as all the instruments are played live through a range of samplers, pads and various acoustic instruments. They have been described as anything from 'prog dance meets cosmic film scores', to 'slasher-flick disco' to 'deadpan landscape'.
The Juggernauts released their debut self-titled EP in 2005, followed by their first album 'Dystopia' in 2007, which hit #21 in the Australian album charts. After playing festivals and headlining tours worldwide during late 2007-2008, the band finished working on their second album, 'The Crystal Axis'. It was followed by their third album, 'Uncanny Valley' in 2013 and an EP, 'Aerials' in 2014.
The group also runs their own label, Siberia Records, through which they release their own music and others, including Kirin J Callinan and Djanimals.
