The Agony Scene

The band formed originally as a Christian metal band, but gradually over time turned into a metalcore band that started to blend elements of thrash and black metal with hardcore punk.

The band in 2002 confirmed in an interview with HM Magazine that they were not a religious band, although many of their song themes and lyrical content remained centred around religious themes.

In 2008 the band broke up, however in 2013 the band re-activated their Facebook page, suggesting they may be reuniting.
