We cannot know the true nature of reality, all we have are our thoughts, our perspectives, which should not, in Nietzsches view, be taken at face value as their truth cannot be justified. "I've seen off God" appears to refer to the "God is Dead" side of Nietzsches philosophy. Maybe i'm wrong, it may be about something entirely diffirent, but this is how i perceive it.
