i think this song is simply about how not everyone knows where they are going in life and that even in the most loneliest of situations, it's guaranteed someone out there is feeling just like you. it's good to let it out, because you need to 'just let what’s dead go'. talk to your friends 'if you’re not sure what you want' or 'if you’re not sure of life of love' because you aren't alone; 'everyone feels like you'.
in order to live life to the fullest, you have to 'bring out what’s dead and dying while you still can.'
