"Variations On A Cocktail Dress" as written by and Benjamin Allen Weinman Dimitri Minakakis....
Fill holes
Dig holes
Gazing at back doors
For once in a life
It's coming in
Inspired by our attraction
What we smell
Bitter sweet pleasure
One phone call
One fine line of prison
The walk
The smell
The spoiled
Backdoor honey
Please come home
Such a shame to throw away
Don't you fucking spill it
Avoid that the best feeling possible
(Yes we do obsess).

General CommentProbably my favorite song off Calculating Infinity. Just a goddamn mind blowing flow to it. That ending breakdown with the guitars is so viciosuly innovative. The song represents growing up and learning from adulthood through teenage experience. Forever gazing at backdoors still. I do obsess

My InterpretationI think it's about someone who's a sex addict. They stare at attractive women and take advantage of them. They feel bad about it, but they can't stop.
