You and I got somethin
But it's all and then it's nuthin to me, yeah
And I got my defenses
When it comes through your intentions for me, yeah

And we wake up in the breakdown
With the things we never thought we could be, yeah

I'm not the one who broke you
I'm not the one you should fear
We got to move you darlin'
I thought I lost you somewhere
But you were never really ever there at all

And I want to get free
Talk to me
I can feel you falling
And I wanted to be
All you need
Somehow here is gone

I am no solution
To the sound of this pollution in me, yeah
And I was not the answer
So forget you ever thought it was me, yeah

I'm not the one who broke you
I'm not the one you should fear
We got to move you darlin
I thought I lost you somewhere
But you were never really ever there at all

And I want to get free
Talk to me
I can feel you falling
And I wanted to be
All you need
Somehow here is gone

And I don't need the fallout
Of the past that's in between us
And I'm not holding on
And all your lies weren't enough to keep me here

And I want to get free
Talk to me
I can feel you falling
And I wanted to be
All you need
Somehow here is gone

And I want to get free
Talk to me
I can feel you falling

I know it's out there
I know it's out there
And I can feel you falling

I know it's out there
I know it's out there
Somehow here is gone, yeah

I know it's out there
I know it's out there
Somehow here is gone, yeah

Ok this song I think has got a really kool meaning, and to me when I read it it's kinda obvious - but maybe that's 'cause I relate it to myself.. Anyway here's what I think :-

"You and I got something / But it's all and then it's nothing to me, yeah" I think that means that he knows that they DO have something special between them, and when things are good, it's like the most special thing ever, but when things are a bit rough it doesn't seem to be so important, doesn't seem to matter as much.. It's like the relationship keeps changing - one minute it's there and then the next it's gone and they're fighting..

"And we wake up in the breakdown / Of the things we never thought we could be, yeah" The 'breakdown' is the phase when they fight.. they wake up to the fact that everything isn't as perfect as they thought.. and they never thought they could ever be so unhappy all the time they're together - the thing they never they would be they are..

"I'm not the one who broke you / I'm not the one you should fear / We got to move you darling /I thought I lost you somewhere / But you were never really ever there at all" that's saying that he isn't the thing that's upset her, she has her problems away from him, and maybe she never was really all that honest with her problems to begin with - which is why he thought he lost her, but maybe she wasn't there because she never was honest..

"And I want to get free, talk to me / I can feel you fallin' I wanted to be, all you need / Somehow here is gone" he knows she's going through a bad stage and he wants to help her all he can, all she needs to do is talk to him. He feels guilty 'cause he can't change how he feels, and maybe he'll feel more 'free' if she talks to him, 'cause then he can understand..

"I am no solution / To the sound of this pollution in me, yeah / And I was not the answer / So forget you ever thought it was me, yeah" That's like she thought all the answers to her problems was love, and she thought she'd found it when she met him. But the problems are still there, and he's saying 'no the answer wasn't me so just forget you thought it was, you have to find the real answers'..

"And I don't need the fallout / Of all the past that's in between us / And I'm not holding on /And all your lies weren't enough to keep me here" It's like the memories of her past are breaking them down, and he's had enough. She's been saying she's happy and she's getting better but he can see she's not, and he's like 'I've had enough, I'm not what you need so I'm going - you keep lying saying you're better and you're not'

Well there you have it lol.. my erm very long view of what this song actually means.. maybe I'm completely wrong, but that's what the song makes me think of whenever I hear it

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
