But you don't want to say it out loud because you're kind of afraid it's not gonna be really true and it will spoil the whole thing for you you know
Eyes wide open but I can't see straight
Driving down the interstate Maybe pills was a mistake
Gotta learn
Gotta learn to keep myself in check
Loving you was great but now I'm trying to forget
So please
Just push me away
Do it so I feel I never want to stay
Always want to be there for you
Come on your break stay up late with you
In the grass high on molly know you loved it too
Smile on my face cuz you're something new
My dreams have become what I see in person
But sometimes I gotta know
When to wake up
Only around when you're wanting me
But I can't find you when I'm right where I wanna be
So I leave space for you and me to breathe
But there's no end to the hole that you put me in it's too deep
Feeling torn in my brain
I don't wanna feel the pain
All I wanna know is that my heart's being done played like a game
Just to feel the same about you that I did that day
I found you
You're sorry for the things you've done
But it's hard being friends if I'm not your number one
Eyes wide open but I can't see straight
Driving down the interstate
Maybe pills was a mistake
Gotta learn gotta learn to keep myself in check
Loving you was great but now I'm trying to forget
So please
Just push me away
Do it so I feel I never wanna stay
Always want to be there for you
Come on your break stay up late with you
In the grass high on molly know you loved it too
Smile on my face cuz you're something new
My dreams have become what I see in person
But sometimes I gotta know
When to wake up

This song is awesome, different style of 311. Too bad the best recording of it out there is still fuzzy. The lyrics pretty much speak for themselves, Nick Hexum is a god.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
