Hmm
We were together I was blown away
Just like paper from a fan
You would act like I was just a kid
Like we were never gonna last
Now I've got someone who cares for me, yeah
Wrote my name in silver sands
I think you know you lost the love of your life
And you say, I was the best you've ever had
Because it ended, you think about the ways you held my hand
And all the times you say you didn't understand
You never had our love written in your plans, yeah
And now I'm in demand

Never think you saw the best of me
There's a side you never know
Love and lover are not two different things
You set your sights far too low

Now I've got someone who cares for me, yeah
Wrote my name in silver sands
I think you know you lost the love of your life
And you say, I was the best you've ever had
Because it ended, you think about the ways you held my hand
And all the times you say you didn't understand
You never had our love written in your plans, yeah
And now I'm in demand

It's only when I'm close to you
I see that winnin' smile
Then my dreams just move along
You're lust erase my minds
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Stay
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Stay

I'm in demand
You think about the ways you held my hand
And all the times you say you didn't understand
You never had our love written in your plans, yeah
And now I'm in demand
Want you in demand
I need you in demand
I'm always in demand
I'm in demand
I'm in demand
Cause now I'm in demand

oh god couple of years ago I had the video on my computer and used to watch it everyday and drool over Alan Rickman :p isn't he just the sexiest creature alive?

Oh, the song's pretty cool, too.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
