(This is how we do it)

Love shouldn't be defined
Love is one of a kind
What we do is crazy, baby
All the ways you make me feel
The way you do me like that (the way you do me like that)
The way you do me like that (oh)
We just understand what nobody else can (oh)
You know how to put it down
How to pick me up and never cause me stress
Every day's a rush
You always cracking jokes that always make me blush
I could stand the world if it was just us
Every day you love me so
Never let you go
When I say it's on you'll never tell me no
That's love, baby (that's love, baby)
Oh, that's us, baby (that's us, baby)

Ain't no point explaining, all this love we making
They think that we're crazy but it's us (but it's us) (but it's us, but it's us)
'Cause this is how we do us, baby, baby
This is how we do us, baby, baby

Don't you hate it when they get to asking
All them questions 'bout the way we rockin'?
Like, we gotta have a separate title or something
Gotta be on TV like the idols or something
'Cause, baby boy, this ain't no way
That I could ever begin to explain
The way we love, the way we trust
The bond we have it's just for us, just for us
Tailor made, yeah, we're soul mates
I knew it ever since our very first date, yeah
You the truth, I need the whole thing
But I won't risk putting this love at stake
For a simple explanation to a simple motherfucka
Who really don't know us, really don't wanna
I mean it when I say it, that I only wanna love ya
That other shit is extra, babe, we far above it now
I know sometimes I do a little much (much)
I know sometimes you got a little problems with your trust (trust)
But that's love, baby (that's love, baby)
That's us, baby (that's us, baby)

Ain't no point explaining, all this love we making (love we making, making, yeah)
They think that we're crazy but it's us (we're crazy, baby, we're crazy, baby)
'Cause this is how we do us, baby, baby (this is how we do us, baby) (this is how we do us now)
This is how we do us, baby, baby (this how we do it, yeah-yeah)

You're the only one I want and I can never leave your side (ooh)
You're always here down to ride
You're always here and that's why
I fu-u-u-uck with you
Said he fucking with me 'cause I'm loyal
He know every single lyric
He at every single show and (I'm at)
Baby, that's why I'm in love with you (oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)

This is how we do it
Yeah, this is how we do it
Baby, it's Friday night, Friday night
(This is how we do it)

Ain't no point explaining, all this love we making (this is how we do it, baby)
They think that we're crazy but it's us (this is how we do it, but it's us, but it's us)
'Cause this is how we do us, baby, baby
This is how we do us, baby, baby
(This is how we do it)

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
