After having spent a fast year
Waiting for the next time I can get you close
I grew used to being back here
Like a chorus synth line soldier at his post

You call and I respond
The sparrow and the song
I miss you when you're gone

When I am alone, I
See you in the dark, I
Talk into the empty
Like you were with me
Started on a cold night
Felt you in the low light
Noticing the reflex
Taking over me

I see you when I reach
Muscle memory

Again, off into the next fall
I am on the back steps tryin' to let you in
See you standin' in the front hall
Maybe this is madness underneath my skin

Guess the misery spawns
Or the body it haunts
And we do what it wants

When I am alone, I
See you in the dark, I
Talk into the empty
Like you were with me
Started on a cold night
Felt you in the low light
Noticing the reflex
Taking over me

I see you when I reach
Muscle memory
I feel you when I sleep
Muscle memory

When you feel the chains
Of a thousand words
And I speak your name
Like I know you heard

I can feel you there
I can hear you move
And it moves me, too

When I'm playin' games
When I'm drinkin' wine
And I see your glass
Sittin' next to mine

I can feel you there
When you're not at home
Like I'm not alone

When I am alone, I
See you in the dark, I
Talk into the empty
Like you were with me
Started on a cold night
Felt you in the low light
Noticing the reflex
Taking over me

I see you when I reach
Muscle memory
I feel you when I sleep
Muscle memory

    My Interpretation

First off - to understand this song we must first understand what "muscle memory" is. A definition of muscle memory is not memory of muscles but memories in your brain entacted for tasks in your muscles.

In the beginning of the song she says pretty much that she's been waiting for him to come back to her. Obviously this guys been gone a long time, maybe they broke up and she still has major feelings for him because he was her muse, her everything. But these too were very insync with each other, she was way head over heals for this guy though. If he calls her, she's going to answer no doubt. The Sparrow and the song, the song sparrow is a bird known for singing and high pitch chirps when it cals for its mate to come. And she'll miss him when hecomes and goes. "When I am alone I see you in the dark, I talk into the empty like you were with me, started on a cold night, felt you in the low light noticing the reflex taking over me, I see you when I reach muscle memory" - she's become so use to feeling him right there next to her and she's missing him so much that she reacts off of relfex and she feels him there even when she's not. Next she's saying that here he is again and she can't help but have her hands all over him -guess the misery it spawns or the body it haunts and we do what it wants- she doesn't know if its the misery of being with out him or her body just doing what comes natural to them. Either way you can you can tell she's very in love with him by this point. "When you feel the chains of a thousand words, and I speak your name like I know you heard" - she says his name sometimes when he's not around because she's so use to being next to him its unreal when he's not there so it doesn't cross her mind until she's already said something and then she's like "oh yeah he's not here". She says, " I can feel you there, I can hear you move and it moves me too". She is telling us she is so insync with him that she moves to every movement he does and she feels like he's there so it moves her too. "When I'm playing games and I'm drinking wine, and I see your glass sitting next to mine, I can feel you there when you're not at home, like I'm not alone." Here again she is explaining to us how much she has gotten use to this guy that she feels him even when he's not around. She is infatuated big time, totally in love because she's taken the time to be around this guy and become this way with him. (: Love the song beautifully written. Very powerful!!

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
