Don't tell her it's all a lie
Don't tell her he's just a guy
Don't tell her that embers don't glow in his eyes
Don't tell her he's not hiding wings, he can't fly

Don't tell her he's not from the clouds
Don't tell her to keep her feet on the ground
Don't tell her that dragons aren't slain anymore
That princes don't rescue young maids anymore
That foolishness should have no sway over her
Just let her be in love

We all have the right to dream
Don't we?
Don't we?
(2x's)

So don't tell her she's losing her mind
Don't tell her she'll be hurt in a matter of time
Don't prophesy darkness devouring light
Don't wish for the day to succumb to the night
Don't bet on her losing her heart in the fight

Just let her be in love (3x's)

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
