As the moon ascends
The wolves come to see the end
They hide from view and wait
To watch the ghost inside you come awake

And when the shots go off
You'll hear them call
My heart is racing just to see it all
To watch you crawl out of you changing shape
To take out your breath and watch it come awake

From the flames of the fire
I feel you crawl into my bed
Throwing shapes at the sky,
I watch you climb into me

With your knees open
On display you taunt the beast again
'Cause when you move and shake
That thing inside you comes awake
As you dance against the breathing walls
My claws are out I want to feel it all
Feel it crawl inside you changing shape
Take out your breath and feel you come awake

From the flames of the fire,
I feel you crawl into my bed
Throwing shapes at the sky,
I watch you climb into me

Say something, pray for something
Say something, pray or something
Say something, pray for something
Say something, pray or something
Say something, pray or something

From the flames of the fire,
I feel you crawl into my bed
Throwing shapes at the sky,
I watch you climb into me

SAY SOMETHING! PRAY OR SOMETHING!
SAY SOMETHING! PRAY FOR SOMETHING!
SAY

    Song Comparison

Don't think I have an audience yet, but I'll try to post a comment.. Only once hopefully.. Censorship non rights hack my iPod.

There was a girl from my dreams from the long before past. So beautiful that it seemed I couldn't even escape.. Note the wolves come out to see the end.. She was the conditions of the shapeshifter from Texas massacre if you had my version. But to me she was already dead.. Note "ghost".

As the moon ascends, the wolves come out to see the end. They hide from(per) view and wait. To watch the ghost inside you Come awake(go away)

And as the shots go off(show begins you'll hear "them"call) shots go off you'll hear them(dogs) call My heart is racing just to see it you(you dog)(doc.) To watch you crawl out of your changing shape(shapeshifter trait) (jugend shame)(jaded shame) Take all your breath and feel you come awake(go away) - it's a play on words. Take her breath away("in love"-come awake) also you can take the line literally(death, kill go away)

    • enemies of both the girl(victim)and shapeshifter)

From the flames, or in fire, I feel you crawl into my bed(veins)

    • above the flames, or in the hell itself, I feel you CrAwL into my dreams/feeling( I.e. Drugs or those likes) Throwing shades at the sky -throwing darkness or emptiness at the "height" of the sky. The good in him( whether of loss of acceptance or action of hate. I watch you crying to me( crying to late)
    • this is where it's a reference to abuse and or drug "abuse".(how emotions feel)(depending)

With your knees all bent(hurt or transforming/or praying.Or open( you know...) On display you taunt the beast again..:( or I'll display you taunt the beast again.. Cause when you move and shake(:( That thing inside you(soul) comes awake(goes away:(

As you dance(acid dance) against the breathing walls. My claws are right/ are hate/are height/ arrive. Oh won't you feel at all? I want to feel it all. Feel it ( to obtain good feeling within) crawl inside you changing shape(*) Take all your breath and feel you come awake! Say something, pray for something Say something pray to something! Say!

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

When We Were Young

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
