You've been working out
You look great
You've been working on your pecs
Your pec, pec, pecs

I've been working out
Yeah I'm looking good
Been working on my pec deck
The pec, pec, deck, deck, deck, deck

You've changed your hair
It looks slick
You've done something to your lips
They look good
Yeah I'm wearing lipstick
What?
Lipstick
I bleached my tips
They look really cool
I know, you've waxed your legs
Your legs are looking smooth
You're looking fine
I only waxed one leg, the left leg
Then I ran out of time
Well you got one nice leg
Thanks

This lust it hurts
You've never looked better
Nice polo shirt
I'm getting sweat on my sweater

You, you, you you you you want me
You, you, you you you you want me

You're intoxicating, you smell so sweet
Like confectionery
It's deodorant, thanks
You've been learning words
From a word book
A dictionary?
Yeah that's it, thanks

You've tidied you room, it looks good
You've got a new rug, that's a really nice rug
Mum came to my place, she tidied up
And I choose the rug
Flokati rug

You painted your legs, they look great
I just put on some tights
Oh, I like the patterns
You've removed your clothes
And my underclothes
You look good nude
Yeah I know, thanks

I had a spray tan, been working on my pecs
And I trimmed my pubes
They're really nice pubes
Yeah

Can't fight this fire
Can't fight this feeling
Let's take it higher
Let's fuck on the ceiling

You, you, you you you you want me
You, you, you you you you want me

You've been working out, you feel good
You've been working on your sex, pec sex
You've been learning sex moves, I think you touched my nips
I've been reading Cosmo for sex advice and sex tips
Sex, sex, sex, sex, s-sex tips
Sex, sex, sex, sex, s-sex tips.
Sex, sex, sex, sex, s-sex tips.

Page 87, try touching his nips. Oh!

Can't fight this fire
Can't fight this feeling
Let's take it higher
Let's fuck on the ceiling
You, you, you you you you want me
You, you, you you you you want me

Can't fight this fire
Can't fight this feeling
Let's take it higher
Let's fuck on the ceiling
You, you, you you you you want me
You, you, you you you you want me

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
