"In The Darkness" as written by and Sam France Jonathan Rado....
So maybe laid a man
There's an eye looking land in the darkness.

Or maybe in my mind it's a high word of time in the darkness.

And maybe it says
There's an alien race
I wouldn't be surprised,
So.
We'd like to introduce you to, the darkness.

I'm streaming in, I'm streaming out

Standing in the country's eye
Will by multiply

Is always standing outside looking in this
Looking in
Say it may take a while
Putting all diamonds in my smile
And maybe I won't even go to work that day
I don't care if I'm in trouble at all
I'll just sip and this with my lingoes in of the darkness.

Oh ohh

My InterpretationWith ' the darkness ' , I think he's referring to all the various ideas, systems, lifestyles.... that makes living easier, and more enjoyable; but aren't popular in the mainstream, thereby leading it to a tag of ' the darkness '

He expresses how this 'darkness', can possibly be an awesome place, and an amazing experience...

He then introduces ' the darkness ' as this chill figure, chilling at the countryside with some drinks at hand, now moving it's view from dark... then he goes on to explaining how ' the light ' (I like to call it that) wants to come in, due to the forces of people like him...

But 'they' just smile, ignoring ' the light ' ....
and go on to say that it'll take time, as an attempt to make the singer smile.

In the end, he expresses how he chooses to experience this...
