She may try to tell you that she's never ever felt a fiery kiss
She may look into your eyes and say I've never known the love like this
She may say her body's never felt the heat from love's burnin' flame
Ah but she'll remember when she hears my name
She may look at you and say no one else has occupied her mind
She may say it's virgin ground and then you'll think it's called the waitin' time
Then you'll whisper words to her she'll tell you that you're the first to say
Ah but she'll remember when she thinks of yesterday
Now I don't wanna be the one to mess upon the things you've done
Cause I know you think you wanna cry
But if you ever doubt she's true there's one thing you shouldn't do
Don't ever look into her eyes
She may say she's never said I love you to another man before
She might forget the times we bluffed and all the times I heard her beg for more
She may try to face it out and yet behind her eyes it's still the same
Yes but she'll remember when she hears my name
Yes but she'll remember when she hears my name

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
