This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
I wake in the morning, tired of sleeping
Get in the shower, and make my bed alone
I put on my makeup, talk into the mirror
Ready for a new day, without you
And I walk steady on my feet
I talk, my voice obeys me
I go out at night, sleep without the lights
And I do all of the things I have to
Keepin' you off my mind
But when I think I'll be alright
I am always wrong, cause
My hands don't wanna start again
My hands, no they don't wanna understand
My hands, they just shake and try to break whatever peace I may find
My hands, they only agree to hold your hands
And they don't wanna be without your hands
And they will not let me go
No they will not let me go
I talk about you now
And go a day without crying
I go out with my friends now
I stay home all alone
And I don't see you everywhere
And I can say your name easily
I laugh a bit louder, without you
And I see different shades now
I'm almost, never, afraid now
But when I think I'll be okay
I am always wrong, cause
My hands don't wanna start again
My hands, no they don't wanna understand
My hands, they just shake and try to break whatever peace I may find
My hands, they only agree to hold your hands
No they don't wanna be without your hands
And they will not let me go
No they will not let me go
Sometimes I'll wake
I see them reaching out for you
Quietly break whatever shields I spent so long building up
I cannot fake, 'cause when they cry I'm unspoken
They miss holding my baby
My hands (my hands)
No they don't wanna understand
They just shake and try to break whatever peace I may find
My hands, your hands, they don't wanna be without your hands
No they will not let me go
No they will not let me go
My hands, don't wanna start again
My hands, no they don't wanna understand
My hands, they just shake and try to break whatever peace I may find
My hands, they only agree to hold your hands
No they don't be without your hands
And they will not let me go
No they will not let me go
No, no, no they will not let me go
Mmm

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
Anyone else find this song through Final Fantasy XIII? Really pretty, made the ending for me.
I did. I thought it was a beautiful song, truly. When I first heard the song, and that it was going to be the theme song I was somewhat disappointed. After all, a "modern"-styled song in a Final Fantasy game? What's that about. But playing this wonderful and spectacular game, with such strong characters and powerful emotions... It was truly an amazing game. And then at that beautiful cutscene, this song plays, and it's just perfect--looking at it now, I really cannot think of a better song, or wanting a more "traditional" FF song. I know I'm rambling, but that just shows anyone who bothers to read this how much this game touched me. I've always been a huge FF fan, and this is by far my favorite one. It's so realistic--as a sibling, I can attest to this. Anyone who has a sibling should know how we get upset at each other over such petty and trivial matters, but I know I'd go to the ends of the Earth to protect my brother and sister. That's what this song means to me--the beauty of interpretation. This story and song are going to stay in my heart. Instant classic.
LOL yeah i did too xD i thought the trailer they aired was good O.O but the online one is CRAZY.

finalfantasy13game.com
-media
-international trailer

if you havent seen it, watch it
if you've seen it, watch it again
Same here - although I heard the song before the game came out, but because someone posted it saying "OMFG FF13 SONG!" so yeah.

I really love this song, and I think it can apply to so many situations. Absolutely beautiful.
The game is great i didnt like it at first bu after hearing it on tv a couple of time i knew i had to get it. The only question now is how does the song relate to each character
Seriously, I was /crying/ when it started playing. Such a beautiful song, and such a beautiful game.
