    It seems the creation of Iron Maiden affected Blaze too much. So now he writes songs about history and wars. This one is about a well-know Russian city, which is here dubbed as the City of Bones, former Leningrad, St. Petersburg. It was under the siege by Germans for 900 days; and Soviet army, despite starvation and shortage of ammunition, managed to hold it.
