It's not chipped
We're not cracked
Oh, we're shattered
Ay hey, ay hey, ay hey
Ooh na, na-na-na
Na-na, na-na-na-na

I thought we had something special
And we had something good
But I shoulda had another mechanic under my hood
If you see me walking by you, boy, don't you even speak
Pretend you on the sofa and I'm on the TV
You might see me on a poster, see me at a show
But you won't see me for free, boy, this ain't no promo

Actin' all shamed now
Wherever you be laying, you can stay now
Gotta board the BBJ and put the shades down
I'm on the plane now
And don't keep calling from your mama's house

When I break I break, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, I break, uh
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, I break

You ain't never gonna feel this thing again
You gon' get a lot of calls
'Cause I CC-ed all your friends (when I break, I break)
I ain't walking 'round all mopey and sad
That ain't even my bag, baby
(I break, when I break, I break)

So look who's crying now, boo-ooh, hoo
Talking 'bout your missin' your boo
Oh no, you and getting it (I know)
No, you ain't hittin' it
No, you ain't a rapper
So you need to stop spittin' it
Ha ha, haa, ha ha
You wonder who I'm messin' with
While you ain't next to me
I'm goin', bye
So pay the consequences
'Cause you actin' all ignorant

So you ashamed now (ashamed)
Wherever you be laying, you can stay now
Gotta board the BBJ and put the shades down
I'm on the plane now
And don't keep calling from your mama's house

When I break I break, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, I break, uh
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, I break

You ain't never gonna feel this thing again
You gon' get a lot of calls
'Cause I CC-ed all your friends (when I break, I break)
I ain't walking 'round all mopey and sad
They're collecting my bags, baby (I break)

'Cause when I break, I break, I break
And no super glue can fix this sh-
When I break, I break, I break
Not even a welder and a builder could rebuild this sh-
When I break, I break, I break
Not even a nail technician with a whole lot of gel and acrylic
Can fix this when I break, I break
If we were two Lego blocks
Even the Harvard University graduating class of 2010
Couldn't put us back together again

When I break I break, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, boy (no, no, no)
Up out my face, I break, uh
(When I break, I break, I break)
Up out my face, boy (I break)
Up out my face, boy (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Up out my face, I break

You ain't never gonna feel this thing again
You gon' get a lot of calls
'Cause I CC-ed all your friends (ha, ha, ha, ha, haa)
(Ha, ha, ha, ha, haa)
I ain't walking 'round all mopey and sad (I break)
They're collecting my bags, baby ('cause when break, baby, baby)

I break, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, boy
Up out my face, I break, uh (I tell you what)
Up out my face, boy (tell you nothin', here)
Up out my face, boy (I'll tell you something)
Up out my face, I break (I'm outta here, oh yeah)

    My Interpretation

It's about thinking you had something real with a guy, then you found out that something was nothing. You break down, no one can fix it, but your over being all moppy and sad. You want nothing to do with him. But your a much better off person than he is, so its okay and you move on to bigger and better things.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
