So please! How many miles to go!
I feel like we're moving too slow,
And I know how you look through your window

Please! Tell me because I'm tired! I feel like I'm falling apart
And it's cold! Won't you open your front door?

I wait for hours by the phone
Because I'm hoping you'd call
Look for hours at the portrait
Hanging over my wall
Found perfections that nobody noticed at all
But you don't remember

So please! Tell me how it feels inside
As I look up towards your window
Please don't panic and run for the phone!
Connections were lost in the storm
But I can help you
Won’t you help me dry those eyes?

Wait for hours by the phone
Because I'm hoping you'd call
Look for hours at the portrait
Hanging over my wall
Found perfections that nobody noticed at all
But you don't remember my name

Wait for hours to find my peace of mind, yes
When all I've wanted was some of your precious time, time
But you never look at me the way I look at you! No you don't!
So watch me stare for hours as I continue to stick like glue

Wait for hours by the phone
Because I'm hoping you'd call
Look for hours at the portrait
Hanging over my wall
Found perfections that nobody noticed at all
But you don't remember my name

General CommentAwesome song. Just as good acoustic as the original version is. Sounds a little bit like a stalker some points, but it seems to be mostly about unrequited love.
