kinou to ashita to futashika na ima
kimi no moto he maware meriigoorando

todoka nai omoi wa binsen to tomo ni
itsuka todoku hazu sa ii kikasete
furueteta kuchibiru kotoba wo tsutaete
tashika namo no hitotsu itoshii kioku dake

asayaka na kisetsu ga irodori wo soeru
hikari sasu hou made kake nukete
kotoba ni dekinai omoi ga aru nara
uta wo kana de okurou kokoro wo sakasete

花弁を浮かべて　呼吸を止めて
浴槽には　音も届かない

蕾のままでいい　咲く事願うなら

蝶が舞う蜃気楼　秘密を抱いて
霧のような遠い約束

昨日と明日と　不確かな今
君の元へ　回れメリーゴーランド

届かない想いは　便箋と共に
いつか届く筈さ　言い聞かせて
震えてた唇　言葉を伝えて
確かなもの一つ　愛しい記憶だけ

鮮やかな季節が　彩りを添える
光射す方まで　駆け抜けて
言葉に出来ない　想いがあるなら

sound also doesn’t reach,
Reality passed me by, along with the tears
sinking lower into the bubbles,

Goodbye wavers at the end of the watercolour,
On nights when the moon sleeps there are no stars either,
If the flower of my dreams scatters, I’ll embellish the future with it,
It doesn’t matter that it’s still a bud if I wish for it to bloom,

The mirage of a dancing butterfly, harboring a secret,
a distant promise like mist,

Yesterday and tomorrow and the uncertain present,
Go around to where you are, merry-go-round!*

The feelings that don’t reach, along with the writing paper,
persuading myself that someday they should reach,
Quivering lips conveying the words,
there’s only one thing for certain, just my treasured memories

The brilliant season adds colouring,
Go toward where the light shines and run through it,
If there are feelings you can’t put into words,
let’s give the performance of a song, make your heart bloom
