I'll find you out
Replacements are overrated
It's been said once or twice now
Silently we reach the day
The secret's out now
With your eyes in the back of your head
Can you see it's me?
And I will find a way to hunt you down
I'll go to every niche and corner of this town

I won't stop until the bleeding all has run out

Remember what you said about being a friend now?
The movement in her hips strikes the hour when the poison sets in
How do you wake?
How do you sleep at night?
Remember what you said

I know where you are
Plan your escape
Do exactly as I say
Some odd years now comply
Fight for your chance at life
They'll never find out where I buried you

I will force you to sit upright with access to your heart
Now is your time to plea
Say it, "set me free!"
Set me free

Remember what you said about being a friend now?
The movement in her hips strikes the hour when the poison sets in
How do you wake?
How do you sleep at night?
Remember what you said

this song is aaaaamazing!! 'i'll find you out replacements are overrated' he's going to get back the girl he wants, replacing her wont change a thing 'its been said once or twice now, silently we reach the day' he has warned his best friend about how hes going to kill him, and the day to kill him is close 'the secrets out now' he confessed what hes going to do 'with your eyes in the back of your, cant you see its me' his friend doesnt believe him and is saying,"yea sure, wutever", hes trying to get him to believe that hes GOING TO DO IT 'and i'll find a way to hunt you down, i'll go to every niche and corner of this town' hes going to find him wherever he is, even in the smallest placest places 'i wont stop until all the bleeding has run out' hes not leaving until hes sure his friend is dead 'remember what you said about being a friend now?' hes pretty much saying,"i thought we were friends, but you just fucked it up" 'the movement in her hips strikes the hour when the poison sets in' his friend is telling him how her physical appearance won him over, and how he couldnt resist to steal her 'how do you wake? how do you sleep at night?' hes wondering how his friend managed to go on with life normally, knowing hes with his best friends girl 'i kno wer you are, plan your escape' hes watching him, and hes warning him to figure out wer hes going to go 'some odd years, now comply' hes thinking back, and is saying, "you were with her that long, and now your going to do as i say" 'fight for your chance at life' its his friends life, hes got the right to fight for it 'they're never going to find out here i buried you' by this he means that, the girl they were with is never going to find out that he killed his best friend 'i will force you to sit upright with access to your heart' hes going to make him feel pain for what he did best part of the song 'now is your time to plea, say it, "set me free", "set me free"' ...his friend is feeling that pain that he was warned about... and then i guess his friend finally dies

i gotta agree with phast..the new album is great..

By the way, this song meant how someone you love can't love you back and your plan is to tell him/her how he/she did do that despite all your sacrifices for them, does not meant a thing on them...and when they needed you are only their friend and you are expecting greater than that..

    My Interpretation

Hmm, I think it's about a friend betraying a friend by stealing the girl they love.

But then this part: "I will force you to sit upright with access to your heart Now is your time to plea Say it, "set me free!" Set me free"

sounds like he's speaking to the girl that chose his best friend over him. When she says "set me free!", she's asking for him to let her go.

"With your eyes in the back of your head"=people being conspiracists and suspicious. "Silently we reach the day", "the secrets out now"=About the gov't/plans for the future is well known..."some odd years now"=three years from 2009 is 2012. And 'Adelphia' means brotherhood in greek. Or I'm just being parranoid. The video is interesting as well.

    Song Meaning

I know this is completely wrong, but I feel its in a girls view. On how a boy promised to be there for her, even if they couldnt be together(for one reason or another) and now hes with someone else. a girl that is completely just a tramp. and hes getting lead on by her and she makes him forget about the one person that truly loves him. now she wants revenge for him giving her false promises.

I know this is really off, but thats how i read it

"The movement in her hips strikes the hour when the poison sets in.."

    • Direct reference to the sexual act going on between her and his friend. The movement in her hips tells of when the "poison," most likely referring to an alcohol aided lapse in her own judgement. Thus labeling it a "poison" as what it is facilitating as being toxic and painful to him.

Girlfriend cheating on him with best friend, and if not cheating then leaving him for his best friend.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
