"A Favor House Atlantic (Demo)" as written by and Travis Stever Claudio Sanchez....
Your eyes tell the stories
Of a day you wish you could
Recall the moments that once have
Retract the footsteps
That brought us to this favor
I wouldn't ask this of you

Good eye,sniper
I shoot, and you run

The words you scribbled on the walls
The loss of friends you didn't have
I'll called you when the time was right
Are you in or are you out
For them all to know the end of us all

Run quick they're behind us
Didn't think we'd ever make it
This close to safety in one piece
Now if you want to kill me
In the act of what could maybe
Save us from sleep and what we are

Bye bye beautiful
Don't bother to write
Disturbed by your words
And they're calling all cars
Face step let down, face step...step down

My OpinionI like this version much better than the original. The words seem more moving to me, or something along those lines.

General CommentI have to disagree with the posted lyrics. After listening to the song a bunch of times trying to figure out the words, I think the last verse goes

"In the words we've said it all before
In the lack of blood we fall short.
Could this be the press of that that weighs
on my life's end, please sing, the words to my once dear victory song."

Anyway, the meaning of the lyrics is much clearer in this version. Claudio and Al's sniper duel over Newo is a bit more obvious this time, so you might not have to read the story to get the meaning.
