Hey now, Hey now, don't dream it's over
Hey now, Hey now, don't dream it's over

Hey yo I finally got the truth from ya
Yo toke a bit & recognize
That Classified was never one to mess around wit lies
It ain't my nature, total behavior; the opposite
Droppin' it, I be the dopest MC rockin it
Composin' tracks got yo mind in a daze
and got you wondering how I can flip it every which way
Lots of practice, hey yo, Class bring tactics
that make you bounce around
like you & ya girl on the mattress
Son, I'll stop you in ya track witchya weak style
An' you can speak foul but can ya really freak, pal?
Too many MC's on the mic sound the same
It's kind of funny though 'cause they're the ones
that found the fame
So what's that say about the world and the music business?
I guess it's all about the bag and how much money's in it
And half-life is like half-broke
I've got ta work the 9 ta 5 just to put my own record out
It ain't a problem though, it keeps me focused on the mic
It makes my skills tight, it feels right to shed the light
So I'm a break it for the million MC's makin raps
That never see no money, no fame, or no contract
Ayo you know most of us won't see a million bucks
most of us will end up broke
To me, that's what it ain't about, yo I live for it
HipHop, what's the best you can give for it?

Hey now, Hey now don't dream it's over (x4)

So what you take me for son, another 10 minute rapper?
I'm only in the game because his friends' in it
Blast ya with flows that leave your brain intoxicated
If duplicated I'm a start this off uninstigated
So watch yaself, or catch a lyric to that dome in seconds
I use my microphone to tear MC's apart in sections
I use my mic to amplify the situation needed
And put them on to get to where my destination meet it
And now I'm at this spot for "" & beats
It was never bout socking this, all about rockin' it and droppin' it from late at night to early morning
rappers on the mic while DJs focus on the core and
Jane, it's got my mental doing flips
you come in to this game think it's easy y'all cant do this
so put the mic down, let an MC like me kick it
flip it, rip it, that's how I hit it (ha!)

Hey now, Hey now don't dream it's over (repeat to end)

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
