I sent myself away from a palm tree trap
And I'm packed in 17 boxes and that is that
Where have I gone?
I don't know
Am I a ghost?
I flipped on one olympic trip of I love you, I love you

But then I'm back like a hero poet
Now that I'm back like a hero, you know it
Now that I'm back like a hero poet
Now that I'm back like a hero, you know it

I slipped, slipped away
Like your words on vapor paper
Where has she gone?
I don't know
Is she a ghost? Because I'm haunted
That's right, now you're my play thing
That's right, I dont need your saving

Now that I'm back like a hero poet
Now that I'm back like a hero, you know it
Now that I'm back like a hero poet
Now that I'm back like a hero, you know it

I sent myself away from a palm tree trap
And I'm packed in 17 boxes and that is that
That's right

Now that I'm back like a hero poet
Now that I'm back like a hero, you know it
Now that I'm back like a hero poet
Now that I'm back like a hero, you know it

    this song is brilliant<3

i think the palm tree trap in the first line might be referring to the stereotypical rich person area in a "paradise" kind of place; maybe she doesn't want to sell out to be like all of them.

the "olympic trip of i love you" probably means that saying "i love you" was a big milestone and she's gotten there, it's like the olympics of love.. but i keep thinking she says "olympic trick" maybe meaning that it's just a decoy, a distraction maybe?

"i slipped away like your words on vapor paper" might mean that whatever someone has told her, has promised, it's just words and they're been broken, and have disappeared.

the whole "am i a ghost?/is she a ghost?" and "where have i gone?/where has she gone?" as well as the "i'm back like a hero poet" might mean that she feels like she has faded away but now she's back in action again.

all their songs are so mind blowin'. i love the dirty little rabbits<3

Holiday

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
