When I started asking questions you were nowhere to be found
When I begged for your protection you were nowhere to be found
Disappointed in your children, did you leave us here to drown?
Have you sacrificed the kingdom? Have you given up your crown?

Only in death will I receive a definite answer to that mystery

I gave you faulted vision so you'd fall in love with sound
And as for that protection, well you're still above the ground
You cause your own misfortune to use it in a verse
When so many around you have got it so much worse

Only in death will I receive a definite answer to that mystery
Lonely in death, will it repeat? No one can promise what you're promising me.

Nothing diminished, the influence hangs over, gray cloud
Misinformation always comes unwound

Only in death will I receive a definite answer to that mystery

I would imagine that this song is about religion. It seems to be railing against the promises of religous leaders by declaring that the person will think for themselves and doesn't need anyone to tell them what they should do or what will happen when they die. Probably my favorite song on the album.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
