Just keep on walking
Every step is a proclamation
They couldn't kill me
But still I'm only half alive
My other self
Clouded in desperation
I dare not hope
But hope is all that keeps me moving

So I walk all night

I lived as a coward once
now I must find my resolve
I lived as a coward once
now I must find my

Resolve!
I took him down!
Not knowing if he would kill me
ran head first at the wire
and threw myself over

and I ran all night
memories, memories, memories
and I ran all night
Memories, memories

what will I find when I get there
If I ever do
will I find them waiting
or just bodies in the ground
I must stop feeling
the pain will overwhelm me
I must keep walking
forever in this night

I left you
Reassured
Inside I know I lied
Faith in this world to be civilized
And I cannot rest and I cannot forgive myself

My InterpretationI think that this song is about a soldier who deserts to avoid being forced to kill and if he stops moving he'll be caught. and as was a soldier he considers himself a coward for killing the innocents and is looking for a way to repent.
