I think its great people have their own interpretations of the song.
I like to not really think to deep into what HE is trying to say about THE SITUATION in the song. What I love about Bon Iver is half the time I have no idea wtf hes talking about. To which I overlay the feeling and color of the song with things in my life, making the song about whatever I want it to be.
