There's a wild wind blowing
Down the corner of my street
Every night there the headlights are glowing
There's a cold war coming
On the radio I heard
Baby, it's a violent world

Oh-oh, love, don't let me go
Won't you take me where the street lights glow?
I can hear it coming
I can hear the siren sound
Now my feet won't touch the ground

Time came a-creeping
Oh and time's a loaded gun
(Every road is a ray of light)
It goes on
Time'll leak and lead you on
Still, it's such a beautiful night

Oh-oh, love, don't let me go
Won't you take me where the street lights glow?
I can hear it coming
Like a serenade of sound
Now my feet won't touch the ground

Gravity, release me
And don't ever hold me down
Now my feet won't touch the ground

I think it's pretty awesome because this cd being about life brings us to this beginning of birth, a life of technicolor. Nothing needs to be said like a new born baby into the world. Life has just begun and all around you is new and different. Then at the end death, little needs to be said because all is done.

It's gorgeous, this song. So simple but so complex. They leave room for individual interpretation here. It is and will be what it is to you. I love it. It makes me feel free.

a gorgeous song. I hadn't noticed at first because of the bonus songs always coming last when i listen to it, but this leads into the album the same way that "Death and All Of His Friends" lead out of it, like the beginning and end of the dream.

"in the end we lie awake and dream of our escape"

apparently this song originally had words, and critics started to hail it as the next single. Martin and the others then decided just to screw with them and remove the vocal track. i've also heard they will release a vocal version eventually.

This song is so beautiful, it makes me feel so happy, and it makes me think about my life and all the good times I've had. My only problem with it is that it could be longer.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
