"Life in Technicolor" as written by Christopher Anthony John Martin, Guy Rupert Berryman, Jonathan Mark Buckland, William Champion and Jon Hopkins....
There's a wild wind blowing
Down the corner of my street
Every night there the headlights are glowing
There's a cold war coming
On the radio I heard
Baby, it's a violent world

Oh, love, don't let me go
Won't you take me where the street lights glow
I can hear it coming
I can hear the silent sound
Now my feet won't touch the ground

Time came a-creeping
Oh and time's a loaded gun
(Every road is a ray of light)
It goes on
Time only can lead you on, still it's
Such a beautiful night

Oh, love, don't let me go
Won't you take me where the street lights glow
I can hear it coming
Like a serenade of sound
Now my feet won't touch the ground

Gravity, release me
And don't ever hold me down
Now my feet won't touch the ground

General CommentI think it's pretty awesome because this cd being about life brings us to this beginning of birth, a life of technicolor. Nothing needs to be said like a new born baby into the world. Life has just begun and all around you is new and different. Then at the end death, little needs to be said because all is done.

General CommentIt's gorgeous, this song. So simple but so complex. They leave room for individual interpretation here. It is and will be what it is to you.
I love it. It makes me feel free.

General Commenta gorgeous song. I hadn't noticed at first because of the bonus songs always coming last when i listen to it, but this leads into the album the same way that "Death and All Of His Friends" lead out of it, like the beginning and end of the dream.

"in the end we lie awake and dream of our escape"

General Commentapparently this song originally had words, and critics started to hail it as the next single. Martin and the others then decided just to screw with them and remove the vocal track. i've also heard they will release a vocal version eventually.

General CommentThis song is so beautiful, it makes me feel so happy, and it makes me think about my life and all the good times I've had. My only problem with it is that it could be longer.
