Hold on, what's the rush, what's the rush we're not done are we
Cause I don't need to change this atmosphere we've made if
You can stay one more hour, can you stay one more hour

You know I'm gonna find a way to let you have your way with me
You know I'm gonna find a time to catch your hand and make you stay

Hold on, I'll be here when it's all done you know
Cause what's the point in chasing if I can't enjoy your face and
We can't be wrong tonight, can we be wrong tonight

You know I'm gonna find a way to let you have your way with me
You know I'm gonna find a time to catch your hand and make you stay
I don't care what clothes you wear, it's time to love and I don't care
You know I'm gonna find a way to let you have your way with me

And if I was running, you'd be the one who I would be running to
And if I was crying, you would be lining the cloud that would pull me through
And if I was scared, then I would be glad to tell you and walk away
But I am not lying, I am just trying to find my way in to you

You know I'm gonna find a way to let you have your way with me
You know I'm gonna find a time to catch your hand and make you stay
I don't care what clothes you wear, it's time to love and I don't care
You know I'm gonna find a way to let you have your way with me

If I was running
If I was crying
If I was scared
You know I'm gonna find a way to let you have your way with me

this song has such an important meaning to me as do all of the other songs but this song means a lot to me because my ex bf dedicated this song to me and no one had ever done that before. This guy was everything i could of asked for he was what made my days shine. but now things are bad and i am sort of over him but hes always there like hes the one i think of when i do things when i listen to music and i just relate everything to him and i want him to be out but for some reason i cant? idk how but i know sooner or later i will but i guess this is only life right?

this song is amazing and filled with so much emotion. The first time I heard it I just never wanted it to stop. I see it as just a pure expression of love towards the one you love. The willingness to do anything to make them happy.

I think this song is simply about a guy who is really into a girl and wont give up on her until she falls for him.

Great song - really love this album.

I think the lyrics in the first verse are:

'We're not done are we' rather than away

This song really is beautiful. Obviously about being there for the one you love, and the love the two share. Also about wanting to prolong the feeling of being as one while making love. When the two are together making love, it seems that the world is perfect and nothing else matters at that very moment, except the feelings between the two people.

there are minor mistakes but here: Hold on, what's the rush, what's the rush we're not done are we Cause I don't need to change this atmosphere we've made if You can stay one more hour can you stay one more hour

You know I'm gonna find a way to let you have your way with me You know I'm gonna find a time to catch your hand and make you stay

anywho, to me it's about loving someone you really don't spend much time with and you basically saying how you want to 'find a way' to be with them and 'find a way' to get to know them ("I am just trying to find my way into you").

I kind of feel like it's a forbidden relationship or something. Just the desperation in his voice ("can you stay one more hour?") and "can we be wrong tonight?". I feel like it's something they shouldn't be doing, but he's telling her that he loves her despite it. He doesn't want it to end.

Beautiful song. I can't stop listening to it.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
