It's hard to watch a sunrise when you think there's clouds in the way.
And harder to leave the "think there's no sunrise" scene after 60 miles and a speeding ticket just to get there.
The hardest part is driving away and catching that pomegranate sun I never saw before in the rear view mirror and you're too far away to make it back to that perfect spot on the cliff you found with your friends.
It's easy to miss a sunrise if nobody's patient.

I realize I've never been relaxed before.
Except on my birthday this year.
We got inflatable rafts and,
Blew them up and,
Took them out on the water.
And I felt relaxed for the first time in my life when I looked up and saw the sky.
And I felt so away from everything.
I was free.
