The sun goes down once again
while i sit here and feel the tears
runnin' down my cheeks
i know i am not afraid of the dark
but the darker it gets
the more I realize
that there is no one to depend on
no one to believe in

and so i wait to die here all alone
like the daylight dies while its fading away
because nobody knows for sure
that the sun will burn
through the cold night once more
through the cold night once more

to where the skies are blue

so i pray for someone
to come and make my life seem like
its still worth livin' it
so i pray for you to come

and so I wait to die here all alone
like the daylight dies while its fading away
because nobody knows for sure
that the sun will burn
through the cold night once more
through the cold night once more

but still the hardest things to say
are the words that mean the most
come on angel
say that you love me
and ill [stay in bliss?]
love will never scare me again
take me to where the skies are blue
always blue, always blue

So i wait to die here all alone
and like the daylight dies while its fading away
because nobody knows for sure
that the sun will burn
through the cold night once more...

wow I'm the first person to comment a Deadlock song. My fav is Dark Cell but it's not listed. I guess i could post it of I knew how. Anyway, this song is about being down and depressed and unsure about life. So you pray to God that he will have mercy and bless you or at least end your life now so you will be in heaven away from the cruel Earth. good? HELLO? (Hello?) (hello). ECHO (Echo) (echo)

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
